Simply open your device wi-fi settings and connect to the AKS-Wireless network.
Staff/Student Devices: Use your school network login details
Visitors: Ask for a wireless guest pass at reception and use the username and password on the pass
- Connect to AKS-Wireless using the Wi-Fi menu.
- Enter your school username and password (do not include the "@akslytham.com").
- When prompted to verify a certificate, click Continue.
- If you have iCloud+ Private Relay, you will need to disable it for the AKS-Wireless network as it does not work in school. Go to Wi-Fi Settings, click on the "..." menu button next to AKS-Wireless, then click Network Settings. Disable Limit IP address tracking.
Some sites will appear to not be working if they are blocked or require enhanced filtering. You can view the block messages, and access the sites using enhanced filtering, if you have installed the filtering certificate:
- Open this page on your Mac and download the certificate (or enter the address into your browser): https://intune.akslytham.com/fgca.cer
- Open the certificate from your Downloads using Keychain Access
- Find the "FG100...." certificate in the list and double-click on it.
- Expand Trust and then change the setting "When using this certificate" to Always Trust.
