Simply open your device wi-fi settings and connect to the AKS-Wireless network.
Staff/Student Devices: Use your school network login details
Visitors: Ask for a wireless guest pass at reception and use the username and password on the pass
Enter your username and password when prompted. If you are asked to trust a certificate from radius.akslytham.com press Trust/Yes..
Next you will need to download this certificate (click here) and follow the next steps - skipping this will mean certain secure websites will not load (e.g. google):
To view these instructions on your device go to https://wifi.akslytham.com/ and click on your device type, or scan this QR code:
- Open the certificate, change the Keychain to System, then press Add. You will then be prompted for your credentials - this is your macbook password, not your school one.
- In the Keychain app that should have appeared, go to System, then find CSCoRootCA and double-click on it.
Change the top field ("When using this certificate") to Always Trust.
