This article should guide you through how to set up and schedule teams meetings.

  1. Open Teams, then go to Calendar on the left hand side.
  2. At the top right, click on New meeting:
  3. Fill out the details and click Send:
    - Give the meeting a sensible title
    - Type in the usernames of the people required in the meeting in the second box. Don't forget if this is a lesson with pupils to include any colleagues as you see fit.
    - Set the time and date for the meeting
    - Select whether the meeting is repeating or not (e.g. if it is a weekly or daily lesson at the same time each week)
    - Enter a description if required.
  4. The meeting should now appear in your calendar. It will also appear in the recipients calendars and they will get an invite email telling them about the meeting.
  5. To join the meeting, click on the entry in your calendar, then Join. If you've already got Teams open near the start of the meeting it will usually pop up to tell you your meeting is due to start anyway.
