Dear Parents,
‘My School Portal’ is an online system designed to streamline communications between the school and parents, by bringing all information and services together.
As a parent, you will have instant and easy access to information about your son/daughter, such as school timetables, school events and progress reports. The new Portal incorporates a view of your child’s homework assignments, and also allows you to access the school sports website. All information is secure and accessed online via one username and password.
The system is accessible via mobile, tablet or desktop device: all pupil information is displayed on one intuitive dashboard and, for those of you who have more than one child at AKS, you can access information for each of your children from the same dashboard.
There is a link on the school website to the Portal. Pupils can also access the Portal using their school email address.
We would ask that all parents sign up to use the system. This is straightforward and, once you are logged into the system, you should find it easy to find your way around.
The following step-by-step instructions will help guide you through the setup process.
1. You can access the portal using the email address that received this email and request a new password here: https://akslytham.myschoolportal.co.uk/forgot-password.
2. You will receive an email from My School Portal: please follow the instructions.
3. Navigation around the Portal should be straightforward, but you can also access a range of short videos (here) which explain how each feature of the Portal works.
If you are experiencing difficulties getting into your My School Portal account, please contact portal@akslytham.com.
We will continue to send you emails; however, copies of all the documents we attach will be available in the documents section of the Portal.
